Services by the Practice Nurse
Our Practice Nurse has surgeries by appointment and is present at clinics. She is available for advice or special procedures. If you would like to be seen please book at reception or by telephone. Amongst other work she helps with:
- Immunisations
- Travel vaccinations
- Cervical Smears
- Dressings
- New registration health checks
- Ear syringing (suspended until further review – due to increase spread of Covid) requests for ear syringing will be assessed by a GP and could take up to 2 to 3 weeks to book, so we recommend patients that have been seen by a GP and advised to have ear syringing to make alternative arrangements which can easily be done for a small fee from specsavers etc. until we fully restore service. Apologies for any inconvenience.
- Asthma
- Diabetes care
- Blood pressure checks
- Removal of stitches
- Over 75 year old health checks
- Contraceptive advice
